Platinum Storm – Our Feeder

We are going to move some of our folks to our feeder clan, Platinum Storm.  The clan tag is #9PLVOGJC.  When searching for the clan by tag, you need the # symbol in front, and the O in the tag is the letter O, not the number.

The purpose of a feeder is to develop players that are good enough to come to the main clan, allow players to take a small break from constant wars, pushing trophies, etc.

People will be allowed to move between our clans – but those being moved at first have been chosen by the co-leaders and I because we need your help developing the feeder, and feel that you are a good fit for it.

We also have a vacation / inactive clan – Platinum Calmed.  I’ll post the clan tag for that one later… gotta get ready for work.  Clash on!

May Balancing Update from SC Team

May 2017 Balancing Update
Hey Chief!

As you know we are working on a massive update, completely different from every other update and we couldn’t be more excited to show it to you (very soon!).
In the meantime, learn about the balancing update for your home village that will go live at the same time as the BIG update! This round focuses on powering up late-game spells and helping the grind through Town Hall level 9.

NEW: Clone Spell level 5 (Town Hall 11)
Clone Spell levels 1-5 clone capacity increased • Clone Spell level 3 now available at Town Hall 10
Weak Clone Spells are underwhelming, especially at Town Hall 10, so we’ve unlocked more cloning capacity. The newest Clone Spell reaches 40 capacity, letting you get 8 Balloons or even 2 Dragons per spell!

NEW: Freeze Spell level 6 (Town Hall 11)
When facing off against the Eagle Artillery, every second of a Freeze Spell counts. The newest level helps to give your troops the time they need.

NEW: Heal Spell level 7 (Town Hall 10)
The utility of Heal Spells becomes quite limited against the heal-blocking effects of the Inferno Tower. A new level will help make those healing opportunities more compelling.

7th Gold Mine and Elixir Collector now available at Town Hall 9 (was 10)
Resources are tight on Town Hall 9, so giving earlier access to these collectors will help ease the grind.

Bomb damage increased
This highly important change ensures that one Bomb will always destroy a Wall Breaker of equal level.

Balloon attack rate increased
Balloons have enjoyed very high use rates since their latest “fast drop” balancing. This change doesn’t affect the speed of the fast drop or damage per second, but an increased attack rate means each bomb does less damage. This softens their initial attack, but makes follow-up attacks happen sooner.

Heal Spell levels 4-5

Fixed with Halloween Update

Fixed a bug related to the army training drag&drop feature. NOTE: OLD app version will have the dragging in training disabled, players need to update to the new version for the training to work again!
Improvement: long press on the Clan Castle troop icon during battle will display the troop contents
Change in Train Troops and Brew Spells upper left UI: changed total troops and total spells training capacity counters to not display over-capacity anymore; previously they would display 0/480 and 0/22 at max level, now they will display as 0/240 and 0/11 (over queueing still works as it used to!)
Clans can now receive Friendly War invites even when the clan is set to “Closed”
Fixed issue with starting 5v5 Friendly Wars when the Clan has less than 10 members (“not enough eligible members” error)
Fixed issue when the Clan was unable to receive a new Friendly War invite when the old invite has been pushed off the clan chat and gets stuck
Elders won’t see anymore the Accept/Reject button for a Friendly War invite in the Clan chat (previously they could see the buttons and tap on them, but those actions would fail as only Leader/Co-Leader can do those actions)
Fixed showing the text “<percentage> War win bonus” under a player name in the upper left UI, when scouting enemy villages during Battle Day in Clan War
Prices for buildings in the Shop are once again shown in red color when not enough resources are available for a purchase (used to be shown in white color all the time)
Fixed issue with reloading Facebook pictures for friends, whenever tapping the Friends/Friend Requests tabs
Fixed missing “1d” text for the single Collector boost icon + fixed “1h” boost text appearing on the collector boost button when selecting a barracks/spell factory before selecting the collector

October update announced!

NEW: Wizard level 7 (TH 10)
Wizard level 6 hitpoints and damage slightly increased
Wizard level 6 available at Town Hall level 9 (was 10)

Fashionably late to the party, high-level Wizards are finally showing up – in style! They’ll lend some needed extra firepower to Town Hall 9 and up.

NEW: Hidden Tesla level 9 (TH 11)
REMOVED: Hidden Teslas no longer deal 2x damage to P.E.K.K.A

Popular Tesla-heavy defensive cores have led to underwhelming P.E.K.K.A gameplay. Removing the 2x damage rule helps P.E.K.K.A reclaim its fearsome potential while making room for a new Tesla level.

NEW: Baby Dragon level 5 (TH 11)
Baby Dragon level 4 available at Town Hall 10 (was 11)

Baby Dragon upgrade levels should come just a bit earlier to give an appropriate power level to such a late game troop.

NEW: Mortar level 10 (TH 11)
Mortar level 8-9 damage increased

Mortar has fallen behind the defensive curve. A boost to later levels, and the new Mortar level 10, will help give Mortar back its punch.

Skeleton Spells spawn MUCH more Skeletons, but over a longer time

The rebalanced spell is much better at doing – well, pretty much everything. 26 Skeletons in a single spell slot? You’d better believe it!

Cloned troops from Clone Spells can stay much longer on the battlefield

The power of Clone Spells comes from effective positioning. Longer troop lifetime will bolster well placed Clones.

Bowler hitpoints slightly decreased

Skillful attackers often keep Bowlers far and safe from damage. A small hitpoint reduction better balances their immense and efficient reach.

Other NEW Town Hall 11 upgrades:

• X-Bow level 5
• 25 additional Wall pieces

Upgrade Discounts (time and/or cost):

• Wizard 6
• Dragon 3-5
• Baby Dragon (all levels)
• Cannon 12-13

• Hidden Tesla 5-8
• X-Bow 2-4

Clan Wars balancing:

• Earn a partial War Win Bonus even when failing an attack
• War Win Bonus is no longer reduced when attacking lower Town Hall levels
• Tougher targets in war are worth more Clan XP, to a max of 10XP!
We want to lessen the downsides of more ambitious war attacks and better reward clean-up attacks.
Also, basing Clan XP rewards on defender strength will better reward Clans that participate in high-level Clan Wars!
